Mallory Hernandez began her career in public education for 11 years. She is a certified teacher with a master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism. Mallory is a two time Teacher of the Year recipient and has well-balanced experience in various settings of education.

Mallory joined a psychiatric private practice by specializing in social skills and emotional regulation through the use of the Social Thinking curriculum and evidence based practices in 2019. She continues to offer individual instruction for children, adolescents and adults; group instruction; and consultations for parents navigating through their child’s special education paperwork. She also supports clients on executive functioning, resume building, professional communication skills, and interview practice to help them function better in their daily life.

In an effort to expand her expertise for direct therapy, Mallory obtained another Masters in Social Work and is now a Licensed Master Social Worker. She is currently working under Charlotte Weatherford, LPC and clinically supervised by Emily Millican LCSW-S to work towards her clinical license. Mallory now sees clients of all ages and backgrounds to help them develop a greater sense of self in order to live more fulfilling lives. She has specialized in treating neurodiverse clients and their parents and has expanded to treat anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and trauma.
